The Wimmera Croquet Association was established in 1930 and once boasted 14 clubs – however now has only four with about 100 members. With no money coming in during the lockdowns – as well as the ever-present challenge of attracting younger Australians to the game – the association struggled throughout the pandemic. Some members revealed being unable to play the game throughout the pandemic also took a toll on their mental health.</description>
